July 17'th,Chester----------------------What started as an overcast day with a little rain soon turned out to be one of the best days ever for a garden tour. For many years now,the local Chamber of Commerce has been running a summer garden tour in the Chester area as a major fund raiser for the group. This year over 150 people came out to see what some of Chester's finest gardeners had to show for their hard work and love of plants.
The event raised over $2000.00 for the Chamber. A big thank you to the Chamber's Executive Assistant,Angela Jessome for all the hard work organizing the event. Special thanks to all the volunteers who served as guides and greeters at all the properties on the tour. And last but not least,a kind thank you to all the homeowners for opening up their gardens for the benefit of the Chester Municipal Chamber of Commerce and for tour goers to enjoy.
